BSAFE Foundation and Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) is going to organize a two-day conference on “Promoting collective actions for strengthening value chain of safe and nutritious food in Bangladesh’.
at The Auditorium of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC), Farmgate, Dhaka, on February 25-26, 2020.
The theme of the seminar is `Safe and Nutritious food for all, a promise in the eve of 100th Birth Anniversary of Bangabandhu’ is rightly chosen and relevant when people are worried to eat unsafe food.
Dr. Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh will present as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman, Chairman of BRAC, Md. Mahbub Kabir, Chairman (acting) of BFSA, Dr. F. H. Ansarey, Managing Director & CEO of ACI Limited will special guests.
In the occasion, Dr. S. M. Bokhtiar, Executive Chairman at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) will be preside over the the inaugural session.
Welcome address and sharing of conference objectives will be present Dr.Mohammed Zainul Abedin, President of BSAFE Foundation.
The occasion will bring together the relevant professors, researchers, representatives from industries and policy makers, Private Entrepreneur’s, extension workers will be participants of the seminar and seminar will provide the necessary guidelines for the policy makers to ensure safe Nutritious food for all.
BSAFE Foundation was established in 2009 as a not-for-profit civil society organization and is active in the agriculture and food sector for improving safe and nutritious food intake of the people of Bangladesh.
The members of the organization include recognized scientists, academia, policy makers and civil society activists. Honorable Dr. Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, MP is the Founding Advisor of BSAFE Foundation.
