International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI ) and BRAC Health, Nutrition and Population Programme is going to jointly organize on A Seminar on ‘Strengthening Economic Evaluation for Multisectoral Strategies for Nutrition (SEEMS-Nutrition) at Spectra Convention Center (Queens Hall), Gulshan 1in Dhaka on Wednesday, 26 February 2020.
The aims of the seminar is to disseminate economic evaluation results of measuring the costs and benefits from multi sectoral strategies that improve economic, nutrition and health outcomes.
Dr Mostafizur Rahman, Line Director of National Nutrition Service, Institute of Public Health Nutrition will present as the Chief Guest. In the occasion, Dr Akhter Ahmed, Country Representative of International Food Policy Research Institute will be preside over the the session.
The Welcome address of the seminar will be present by Dr.Morseda Chowdhury, Associate Director of Health, Nutrition and Population Programme , BRAC.
Dr Carol Levin, Senior Health Economist and Clinical Associate Professor Department of Global Health, University of Washington, Ms Ruhina Binta A Ghani, Manager of Health, Nutrition and Population Programme BRAC and Dr Esha Farooque, Project Manager of IFPRI will also deliver speech on the Seminar.
The occasion will bring together the relevant professors, researchers, development workers, representatives from industries and policy makers, Private Entrepreneur’s, extension workers will be participants of the seminar and share their inputs and enlighten the discussion during the programme.
